Oooooooh… Artsy.

I’ve made mention in the past that I work as a graphic designer for a living. One perk of that is that I have access to a lot of cool programs and materials that can be utilized in making custom cards. One new program that we recently got at my job can be used to stitch together a bunch of images to form one big image. Like this:

In case you can’t tell, that is a 1968 Topps Tom Seaver card that comprised of thousands of Mets cards. Don’t believe me? Check it. (That links to larger version that’s around 1 megabyte, so depending on your interweb speed, be prepared to wait a second.)

  1. Fantastic. Just brilliant.

  2. Very nice! I wish I had the talent to be a graphic designer. I was able to pick out a few cards that I recognize. Did you take scans of cards that you already own, or just random Mets cards online?

  3. Actually, it’s just a bunch of random Mets cards that I already had scanned in from past posts.

  4. Very cool and one of the best photo montages I’ve seen. What program did you use for that?
