Mets Through the Years: The All-Star(s), 1999

The Mets were back to a one All-Star performance in 1999, but at least he was a legit All-Star and not just chosen because they had to pick someone.

Piazza once again donned the tools of ignorance for the National League, starting the game behind the plate. He went 1 for 2 with a strikeout. Both the strikeout and the hit (a single) came at the hands of former Met turned Yankee David Cone.
