Mets Through the Years: The All-Star(s), 1991
July 10th, 2012 by slangon

Another year, another 2 Mets All-Stars.

Hojo was treated to his second and final All-Star Game, thanks in part to his 38 homers and 117 runs batted in in 1991. Unfortunately, he wasn’t able to work any of that magic in the game itself, as he went 0 for 2 with a strikeout.

Frank “Sweet Music” Viola joined Johnson in Toronto that year. He pitched the fifth inning, working around a lead off walk to Joe Carter.
