The Macho Man Randy Savage passed away yesterday in Flordia. Apparently, he suffered a heart attack while driving and crashed his vehicle. He was 58 years old.

I’m not sure how many people were aware of this, but Macho Man, whose real name was Randy Poffo actually played minor league baseball in the Reds and Cardinals organization. Hmmm. This was in the early 70’s. The Cardinals organization. I wonder if he was ever a teammate of my favorite baseball player, Keith Hernandez. Apparently, he was a Mets fan.

Rest in peace, Macho Man. You were truly one of the guys I loved to hate.
