A TTM That I Totally Forgot About
January 14th, 2010 by slangon

I sent this out in early November, which in TTM terms isn’t even that long ago. That didn’t stop me from forgetting that I sent it. I actually sort of love when stuff like that happens. It’s like when you’re at the bar, and you load up the juke box with a bunch of awesome songs, but by the time they come on, you forgot what you played. You don’t know what’s coming, but you know it’s going to be good.

2009 SlangKo Sport Stars #142 Cat Osterman

I sent her 2 copies of this custom card. She kept the other one. Unlike the SlangKo Heroes of the Diamond customs that I had been sending out to get signed, these have backs.

I also sent along a double of her card from the 2009 Allen & Ginter set, which she so kindly signed.

It’s pretty awesome that she signed the Ginter card with “USA” and signed the SlangKo card with “Hook ‘Em”, which apparently is the University of Texas rally cry.

Pretty sweet signing, if I do say so myself. And I do.
