Mets Through the Years: The All-Star(s), 1992
July 10th, 2012 by slangon

1992 started yet another stretch where the Mets were only sending the minimum 1 player to the ASG.

David Cone headed to the All-Star Game. It wouldn’t be his last, but it would be his last in a Mets uniform. He pitched a 1-2-3 4th inning, facing 3 future Hall of Famers. He got Roberto Alomar to groundout, struck out Wade Boggs and got Kirby Puckett to groundout.
