Later today the New York Football Giants will be taking on the Atlanta Falcons in the first ever post-season game at the new Giants Stadium. Apologies to Jets fans, but I’m just used to saying Giants Stadium. And apologies to Met life, but same thing.

I know I had been mostly ignoring the Giants on this blog this football season, but after the last few years of rooting for them and the Mets, I find it a little hard to get excited about things until they actually happen. Especially the way the Giants season went. They started off pretty good, going 6-2 over the first half, but once they started dropping games left and right in the second half, I got that “Here we go again” feeling. Thankfully, they really started to pull it together at the right time and fought their way in.

Let’s hope that momentum keeps up and they don’t end up one and done.
