I’m by no means a Cub fan, but this news truly bummed me out. Ron struck me as a great player who’s had his share of tough breaks but who always seemed to be flashing the same smile as he is on this ’69 All-Star card. I can also really appreciate what a die-hard Cub he was.

My condolences to the Santo family and the Cubs community.
