Pack 10

#297 Isaac Newton

#165 Nick Jacoby (+1 for being one of us, one of us)

#111 Josh Willingham

#296 Barry Zito

#118 Eric Young Jr.

#TDH58 Dan Uggla This Day in History (+1 for being a This Day in History)

(I also sort of want to give myself extra points for making it through an entire pack without pulling a dirty Yankee, but again, I will follow the rules as they were laid out by our wise commissioner.)

Well, there wasn’t anything big deal in either of those two packs, but I think Pack 9 might be my favorite of the box so far just because of that Cap’n Nemo card and that Sherlock Holmes card. I don’t think I’ve ever mentioned it before but I am a HUGE Sherlock Holmes fan. That illustration is really awesome and having it be black bordered just makes it that much more beautiful. I haven’t read 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea in forever, but I was always a fan of the character of Nemo and again, that’s a really sharp looking illustration. It’s exactly cards like those that make me love Ginter. And it’s exactly cards like that that make me not care so much that this box blows when it comes to getting me points.

Pack 9 Total = 7
Pack 10 Total = 5
Box Total to Date = 62
