Gint-A-Cuffs: Round 1
July 6th, 2010 by slangon
So here we go with my first pack. Let’s hope it’s a good ‘un.
#54 Tony Hawk
#170 Adrian Gonzalez (+2 for being a favorite player)
#74 Ryan Ludwick
#35 John Lackey
#AGR-RC Robinson Cano Bat Relic (+8 for being a relic /2 for being a Yankee = +4)
#255 Robert Scott Mini A&G Back (+2 for being a Negro Leaguer Mini + 2 for being an A&G back = +4)
#TDH7 Jason Heyward This Day in History (+1 for being TDH +2 for being a favorite player = +3)
Pack Total = 13
Box Total to Date = 13
Hmm. Not terrible since more than half the cards fetched some points, but that Cano Relic kind of killed me. First of all, I always hate getting a hit in the first pack. I much rather save them up for the end. It’s a shame too, since Cano is one of the few Yankees I can stand and especially since he’s having such a great year, I was pretty excited to pull that card. Having seen some of the Gint-A-Cuffs breaks that have been posted already though, I feel like I need all the points I can get, so having to divide one of my hits in half really hurt. I’m not feeling so good about my chances already. I guess we’ll have to wait and see.
You’re welcome for the Gonzalez points.
