A few weeks ago, I was lucky enough to get Carl Erskine’s autograph through the mail. As has been my practice recently, I sent along 2 copies of the card and offered him one to keep if he wanted. He declined and sent back both cards signed. Now I am offering the second copy up to you guys.

What do you need to do to win it? Name that Mustache.

All you have to do is match that ‘stache to the ball player who grew it. All them lip critters were from 1970’s Topps baseball cards. I’m not looking for you to name the specific card, just the player. Don’t worry, they’re all pretty well known guys. No bench jockeys or cup of coffee type players in this bunch. The first person to correctly guess all nine dudes gets the Erskine. Just leave a comment with your guesses.

I’ll check back occasionally and let you know the number you have correct, but I won’t say which ones are right. Just keep checking the comments on this post to see if you’re on the right track. You can guess a total of 3 times, so make them count.
